Province of British Columbia
We acknowledge the financial support of the Province of British Columbia. BC Charitable Gaming supports our three areas of focus; After School and Youth, Garden and Healthy Foods, and Healthy Communities.
Comox Valley Community Foundation
Through a Community Enrichment Grant, the Comox Valley Community Foundation and the Rotary Club of Courtenay are generously contributing towards "Programming and opportunities to support and strengthen our diverse community."
Adopt-a-School
The need for food security for many children and their families is greater than ever. The Vancouver Sun Children’s Fund Societies Adopt-a-School funding helps towards the cost of food for our free salad bar, after school snacks, and nutrition programs
100+ Women Who Care Comox Valley
Inspired by the various 100+ Women Who Care throughout Vancouver Island, and all over North America, a group in the Comox Valley to contribute and give back to their community. LTCES was pleased to be the recipient of funds in early 2023.
Canada Healthy Communities Initiative
Public spaces are the glue to our communities: they enable a feeling of belonging, of social cohesion and encourage our sense of collective identity. The CHCI fund supported LTCES in building our three season shade sail as a safe, public meeting space in the Lake Trail Community School Garden.
Local Food Infrastructure Fund
This fund was aimed at community-based, not-for-profit organizations with a mission to reduce food insecurity by establishing and strengthening their local food system. LTCES gratefully received funding to support the re-building of the Lake Trail Community School Garden.
Soup Days
Every month, the Rotary Club of Comox gathers in the Foods Room at Lake Trail to create a soup to accompany our free salad bar. All ingredients, and labour, are donated.
Elarton Point Strategies
As a supporter of LTCES, Elarton Point Strategies has provided strategic planning services, and donations towards programs. We thank them for this incredible mentoring.
The Update Company
The LTCES website has a rebuilt with a fabulous new design thanks to the folks at The Update Company. We are so appreciative of their hard work and support.
Lionra Agency
Jen Rollins, of Lionra Agency, is a passionate supporter of Lake Trail Community Education Society. Over the years, we have benefitted from her contributions towards marketing and fundraising.
